2 Weeks since surgery

Tyson has done remarkable at recovering from his surgery. His swelling & bruising is totally gone. He gets up better every day. He still limps pretty bad & uses that leg at the bare minimum, but it is still early. This past week he got a ton of love & attention. Since Celeste was on Spring Break, he got a lot of extra time with her. She slept on his bed in the living room almost every night. His pain levels must be better because he has started to push himself to be more active. He wants to go outside more and wonder around. He is our special boy for sure!!

Tyson gets a little better every day. He didn't like the sling we bought him, so we use a blanket under him to assist him while he is walking in and out of the house & down the ramp. When he gets to the yard, we take it out from under him because he won't use the bathroom if it is there. His incision looks really good, the pictures I see online are really bd & bruised. He doesn't bother it too much, but occasionally will try & we just place a blanket on his leg so that he can't.

His sister Summer. has had a hard time not been able to play with him. Sometimes she seems so said just laying around, like she doesn't know what to do with herself. She knows something is wrong. We have let them snuggle up a few times, but we are very scared & worried she will hurt his leg.

Surgery Appointment

Due to Tyson's condition worsening over the past couple of weeks, we had to schedule his surgery sooner than expected. We wanted to wait for more donations, but that is definitely out of the question. His surgery will done March 24th at 8:30 am. They will keep him over night, and he will go home Friday when Rob gets off work, as long as there are no complications. We are scared to death, and hate having to leave him there. It will be a long night that night. We know it is for the better, but can't help being worried sick. Here we go, wish us luck!

We wanted to update Tyson's supporters with some great news. We where informed that he will be getting a five hundred dollar donation from a very generous individual. There are not words that can express the feelings we have about this whole process.I say thank you all the time but even that doesn't scratch the surface of what we feel inside. We have reached almost 1,000 now.
